DECLARING 2017: MY CASE IS DIFFERENT

Today all over the world, we see the end-time prophecy of woes, terrors and horrors being fulfilled before our very eyes. Jesus speaking of these times said,

“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things, must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” – Matthew 24:6-8

However, in spite of these horrors, God has ordained to exempt His people as He did in Egypt and all through the forty years of their journey to the promise land.

Many people around us may be asking?

  • But who are you to claim that your case is different? – Ezekiel 9:6
  • What makes your case different? — Galatians 3:13-14, Galatians 6:17
  • What discoveries have you made to claim that your case is different? – 1 Peter 2:9
  • What makes you believe that your case is different? – Ephesians 2:6
  • But who are you to think that what affects others will not affect you? – Colossians 1:13
  • What confidence is this in which you trust? – Isaiah 36:4-20
  • Some may even say with ‘authority’, don’t let anybody deceive you, no one will be exempted from the impending global economic disaster. Sure? – Genesis 47:15-27
  • Scriptures admonish us that we should be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks us the reason of the hope that is in us – I Peter 3:15
  • We must understand that dwelling in the secret place of scriptures, in order words, operating by divine secrets as contained in scriptures is key to our exemption from the economic gloom that lies ahead of this generation – Psalm 91:1-16

For example, we saw from scriptures how God exempted Israel from the following plagues that came upon Egypt:

  • swarm of flies, which connotes decadence and stench – Exodus 8:20-24
  • death of cattle, which represents the dearth of businesses and careers – Exodus 9:1-7
  • destruction by hails and tempest, which connotes devastation and destruction – Exodus 9:18-26
  • gross darkness, which connotes confusion, stagnation and frustration and failure – Exodus 10:21-23
  • scourge of death – Exodus 11:4-7

But thank God, our exemption from the evils of the day has been established by redemption (I Peter 2:9).

Furthermore, the Bible acknowledges that:

  • The last days are the greatest days of the church of Christ on earth – Micah 4:1-2, Isaiah 2:1-3
  • But while the present economic meltdown shall continue to grow worse, God’s covenant people shall not feel the heat thereof – Malachi 4:1-4, Psalm 33:18-19
  • God will be raising an army of saints that will make a difference in the midst of these horrors – Joel 2:1-11, Obadiah 1:21
  • For every one of us who is walking in the Covenant of Abundance, when men shall say there is casting down, we shall be saying there is lifting up – Job 22:21-29, Psalm 37:18-19
  • In these last days, God will be putting a difference between those who are serving Him and those who are not – Malachi 3:17-18, Job 36:11

Therefore, the same way He exempted the children of Israel from the plagues that came upon Egypt, God shall be separating the redeemed from all the evils of these last days.
God shall be setting a seal of exemption upon the fore-heads of all His people and that will not allow the destroyer to come near our habitation all through the year 2017 and beyond (Ezekiel 9:6, Psalm 105:13-15).

Therefore, the theme of year 2017 is:

My Case is Different – Genesis 47:15-27

As the Lord lives, everyday shall be Christmas for all His covenant children in the year 2017. Amen.
Jesus is Lord!
